BIOGRAPHY
Jessica Haynie is the daughter of a piano teacher and began making music when she was just three years old. She grew up studying the guitar, percussion, and french horn, but piano always remained her first love and she began teaching piano lessons in high school.
After studying jazz theory and performance in San Antonio, Jessica made her way to Austin to The University of Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree and studied classical piano performance, accompaniment, and chamber music.
After college, Jessica spent several years in marketing at Universal Music Group in New York working with artists such as Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Renee Fleming, and Elvis Costello. After moving back to Austin, she served as Director of Marketing at Texas Performing Arts on The University of Texas campus.
Now Jessica has returned to teaching full-time and enjoys working with students of all ages and interests. “I provide a supportive, creative, and fun environment for learning. Wherever your studies take you, my ultimate goal is to foster a lifelong appreciation of music in each of my students.”
